I love to go shopping at Costco. I could drop a small fortune there. They have everything you could want and more! I’ve recently discovered their pharmacy prices are far less than many others, especially if you don’t have insurance or are on a deductible plan. Their vitamins are high quality and are a good deal. Here’s a list of ten things I always get. I try to just go once a month, due to budget reasons. 🤣
1. Popcorn- We have 4 kids, two of which are teen boys. Their box of popcorn is a great snack. It fills them up. It seems someone is always hungry. This is always on the list.
2. Rotisserie chicken- I know these have gotten a lot of bad publicity lately, but they are a fast dinner after shopping all day. It literally takes me all day. We go through a lot of food. Feeding 6 people is no easy task. I do cook most of the food from scratch, but try to pick up a couple fast things for meals.
3. Caesar salad- Everyone in our house loved their bagged Caesar salad. It is very good. We have it with the chicken, spaghetti or various other meals.
4. Nesquick -Please no hate for the sugar-but we go through chocolate milk. This is a big tub for a very reasonable price. It’s great for winter when making hot cocoa after playing in the snow.
5. Doritos-Another snack necessity that is definitely cheaper at Costco for a big bag. It’s great for football games and parties as well.
6. Batteries-Their big packs of batteries are great to pick up before Christmas if you have small kids, especially. What is worse than putting together all the toys and then not having enough batteries?
7. Bread/buns/tortillas- it is great to get the double packs of bread, buns and tortillas. They last through a couple meals and the price again is better than other stores in the area.
8. Cheese-I always stock up on cheese. We go through a lot of this as well. We have Taco Tuesday and pizza every Friday. So, there’s a good amount just to start.
9. Dishwasher tabs- I use the Kirkland tabs. One tub lasts me three months. It works just as good as name brand.
10. Snack bar -This is my kids’ favorite part. They have the cheapest prices in town for lunch! How do you resist?
