Garlic Noodles

I have a large family of six to be exact. So, extending meals to fill tummies sometimes is needed. Pasta is a mainstay at our house. We try to always keep plenty on hand. As grocery prices keep going up, many are searching for ways to reduce grocery bills. This is an easy dish that’s also cheaper to make and has plenty of good flavor. 

Who doesn’t love a fast easy side dish. When I first started making this side it was to be something better than processed or boxed food. It has fast become something we have a lot. It is a flavorful dish and easy to make. The ingredients are always on hand. 

It can be served with just about anything-chicken, seafood or whatever you choose. 


Recipe:

1 16oz box linguini 

1/2 cup butter

3-4 cloves garlic

1/2 C Parmesan cheese

1 Tbsp parsley 


Directions:

1. Fill large pot with water and boil noodles to al dente. 

2. Drain in colander.



3. Put butter in empty pot and melt over medium heat. Using garlic press crush garlic and allow to heat a few minutes. 

4. Add noodles back to pot. Toss butter and garlic through noodles and add Parmesan and parsley. Stir well. 

5. Serve.
